Meet the members of our School Well-being Team:Our School Well-being team supports with safeguarding, attendance, and all aspects of well being for our children's social, emotional, physical and mental health.
Hello, my name is Mrs Trisha Pointon.
I am the St. Anne's Pastoral Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead and Operation Encompass named Key Adult.
I am in school every day. My role is to provide support and intervention to pupils and families across the school from EYFS to Y6. I liaise and work closely with other members of the School Well-being Team, teachers, support staff and SENDCO to address any concerns raised by parents/carers, pupils and teachers, as agreed by the Headteacher, focusing on early intervention so that little problems don’t become big problems.
Mrs Pointon is also supported by Mrs Louise Chapman - St Anne's Wellbeing and Welfare Manager supporting the pastoral and mental health needs of our children. Mrs Chapman and Mrs Pointon are in school 5 days a week and are available to support with any concerns or problems you may have regarding your child's welfare, pastoral and mental health needs. Mrs Pointon and Mrs Chapman work very closely with all teachers, SENDCO and other staff, as part of the School's Well-being Team to ensure the children have access to services, interventions and support to meet their needs. Please contact any member of the Team should you need to discuss any aspect of your child's wellbeing at St Anne's.

As a whole school team:
We work to encourage parental involvement within school and aim to empower parents to take an active role in their child’s social, emotional and educational development. We can help to overcome barriers to your children’s learning by ensuring there is effective dialogue between parents and teachers with regard to your child’s progress.
The school SEND, Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team work closely with outside agencies to support you and your child by offering support to our children and families at times when there may be changes in their lives or extra support is required. We are here to listen and care in a non-judgmental way. We have access to an extensive range of information, which means we are able to signpost parents to a variety of services who may be able to help.
Our aim is to build strong relationships with you so that every child in our school is happy, thriving and fulfilling their potential.
You can arrange an appointment with any member of the school Wellbeing Team by appointment over the phone or via messaging on Class DoJo - although of course if you are in need of an urgent advice and/or support, please feel free to call in and we will always meet with you.
St Anne's is now a Theraputic School - Teaching Positive Connections
We have now concluded our two year Theraputic School Award. This has been an exciting journey for us and we have fully incorporated the approach inot all aspects of school life.
