Dark grey trousers OR shorts
School sweatshirt (with logo)
Dark grey socks & black, sensible shoes
Navy Skirt/ pinafore
White socks
Navy blue and white gingham dresses can be worn during the summer term
All children must wear black sensible shoes
NB – Our Y6 children wear a burgundy sweatshirt (with logo)
– EYFS Nursery children may wear a polo shirt & jumper/cardigan (rather than a shirt & tie) for ease/comfort and we find that elasticated-waist trousers help with independence for toileting.
All children must wear black sensible shoes (Please note trainers and many designs of ‘fashion’ shoes are not suitable for day to day wear in school)
We also ask parents to provide a PE kit which should include:
Navy shorts
White T-shirt – with short, navy blue sleeves and school logo
Black Pumps
Please note our emphasis on the need for a change of footwear from everyday use in school, to pumps for outdoor use on the playground or field. This is important for hygiene and also helps to keep the school building clean.
Most P.E. work in the hall is undertaken in bare feet as recommended by the L.A.
Sweatshirts and cardigans with the school logo on are available to order each year from our suppliers. Orders can be placed online and forms are available from the school office.
School ties can be purchased from the office during the year. (We are currently changing our school tie and we will inform you when the new stock arrives)
Book bags and PE bags may also be purchased from the office throughout the year.
Jewellery is not to be worn in school. Governors follow National Guidelines in this matter and consider earrings and other items of jewellery highly dangerous. Children will be asked to remove earrings. The school cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage of items of jewellery and watches. Long hair must be tied back in school for reasons of health and hygiene. Hair accessories should be appropriate and in keeping with the school colours.
