Releasing Our Butterflies.

Date: 21st May 2018 @ 4:08pm

After all our butterflies hatched from their cocoons last week and had been fluttering around the net for a few days. We decided that Friday was the perfect day to release them into the bright blue sky. How exciting!

The children have absolutely loved observing the different changes. The life cycle of a butterfly has been our constant topic of conversation and has followed on from our new favourite book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This experience has really brought our learning to life and the language we have captured the children using has been fantastic. We are still hoping our butterflies come back to visit us again one day but perhaps we'll just have to wait and see...
